Zoom Zoom

There's a bike club that rides around the lake in my neighborhood every Tues night. I've always wanted to be up close to the huge pack of riders so I set up my camera right along side the road and started shooting. I had the camera on burst mode and then I stacked a couple of photos on top of eachother in photoshop. I also messed with the saturation to make it more interesting.

  1. I see what you were going for and the only way to learn is through experimentation, but to me it looks like your arm got bumped mid-shot.

  2. I like what you have here a lot. My suggestion would be to have the front 2 riders untouched by the effect/in focus, then have the the effect getting stronger towards the left side of the image. I love the angled horizon. Very cool shot!

  3. Thanks, great ideas! I wasn't happy that the blurred effect made the photo out of focus but I felt if was more interesting than without the effect. I like the tip of keeping the front riders untouched and add the effect to the others, I will try that. Thanks for the comments, I need all the help I can get :)
