Sandstone Quarry

This is a combination of IR and visible light - not a very successful photo, but I may try more of this in the future.

    What is the purpose of combining IR and visible?

    There was no detail in the sky (in the visible light image). The dramatic clouds showed up in the IR though. I couldn't get the two images to line up perfectly though - I probably bumped the tripod or something.
